There is light at the end of the tunnel and through the windows (February 2023 -June 2023)

We have windows. We have windows stacked in the house, we have windows on the floor, we have holes for windows, but we have windows. We are finally seeing great progress with the installation of new construction windows. Williams Lumber Supply in Brookneal, VA https://www.williamslumbersupply.com/ have been wonderful to work with. We love to support local businesses and they are on our preferred list of vendors. We also got to mow the grass that we planted earlier this spring that I never thought would grow. I doubted my hubby in his methods but it all worked out and I had to swallow my pride on that one. We had 4 properties to mow this summer so we're thankful that season is coming to a close. Not a lot to say about this step of the project, so I will let the photos speak for themselves :)

This has been a crazy summer for us. I think of that saying about you never have money AND time. You either have one or the other. Well, as this project is coming to a close, I have neither 😂 so there's that. Blogging updates in real time is preferred but was not possible this summer. We have made some major progress on the Gladys house and have a new space to share with you in the next few weeks. Looking forward to writing about what we have been up to!
